Exciting Changes for the Methodist Ministries Team

Methodist Ministries Network welcomed a new team member and promoted another as the association positions itself for growth and opportunity. Emily Robbearts has been promoted to Director of Operations and Lindse` Owens has been named Communications Manager.   

As Director of Operations, Emily she will oversee efficiency, consistency and innovation within the operational framework of the association; lead organizational communications to build relationships with all audiences and continue to manage the EAGLE Accreditation Program in collaboration with the EAGLE Accreditation Commission. Emily joined the team in 2020, bringing experience as an EAGLE peer reviewer and assisting with the EAGLE accreditation process at Chaddock, a member ministry. Last year, she was promoted to Sr. Director of EAGLE. Emily holds a master’s in business administration from William Woods University (2008).

“Since joining our team nearly four years ago, Emily has made strategic improvements to the operations, communications and overall best practices for Methodist Ministries Network and the EAGLE Accreditation Program,” said President and CEO Mary Kemper. “This promotion is a recognition of her efforts and our commitment to ongoing operational excellence.” 

As the association’s first full-time Communications Manager, Lindse` will manage newsletter production, website and social media; develop communications tools; ensure consistent messaging, and maintain brand standards. Lindse` holds a BA in Communication Arts from Johnson C. Smith University (2011) and an MA in Communications (Public & Media Relations) from Johns Hopkins University (2020). Her career spans education, healthcare, private sector and not-for-profit organizations.

Outside of her professional life, Lindse` enjoys writing, reading, crafting and spending quality time with friends and family. She is deeply committed to service, actively contributing to her local church, in several roles with both the youth and missionary departments. 

“Lindse` brings a wealth of talent and experience that will help us build awareness about our association, the EAGLE Accreditation Program, our members and the people they serve,” said Emily Robbearts. “She looks forward to bringing her creativity to our team, especially as we maximize opportunities with our new name and logo.”
