We are always learning alongside you, in the fall of 2025 we tried something new: Learning and Collaboration Tours where members hosted peers on-site for an experiential day showcasing programs and services, exploring leading practices, and exchanging ideas and strategies to better serve the missions. We are grateful to our member hosts Cunningham Children’s Home (Urbana, IL), Methodist Children’s Home (Ruston, LA) and Shineforth (Richmond, VA), as well as the 37 participants from 10 member organizations. In feedback surveys:

• 93% of respondents said they gained information and insights to enhance the work
• And gave an average of 9.1 out of 10 on how likely they are to recommend this offering to a peer

“Going in, I was hopeful our residential team would walk away with ideas and new thoughts about how to better serve our youth. As a group, they absolutely came away with ideas! It was a great opportunity to have multiple levels of the team interact in a professional environment away from our campus.” – LCT participant
